This multi-family house was built in 1916 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists James Fitzgerald, a chauffeur; James Golden, a chauffeur; John Golden, a watchman; and Peter Golden, a police officer, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows J.W. and M. Fitzgerald as the owners of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by James Fitzgerald, a 58-year old chauffeur from Ireland. James lived with his 48-year old Irish wife Mary and their 21-year old daughter Margaret, a stenographer for a drug company. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by William Mask, a 38-year old chauffeur from New York. William lived with his 35-year old wife Alice and their 6-year old son William. The building was valued at $11,000.
