This Colonial house was built in 1890 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof. A renovation was performed in 2002. The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Fannie Coburn as the owner of this house. The 1925 City Directory lists Charles McLaughlin, a pressman, as a resident of this house. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows F. McLaughlin as the owner of this building. The 1930 Census lists Frank McLaughlin, a 58-year old insurance solicitor from Canada, as the owner of this house. Frank lived with his 57-year old wife Mary and their six children: 27-year old Anna, a stenographer in the State House; 25-year old Helen, a cashier; 24-year old Charles, a salesman in a gas station; 21-year old George, a clerk in a soda fountain; 20-year old William, a printer; and 16-year old Catherine. The building was valued at $8,000. |
